Step outside and you will see

The tiny dogs of Italy 

Ladies strutting down the street

Whilst pooches totter at their feet

Smart young men in dapper cuffs

With fancy canines (never scruffs)

Models like you see in mags

With cool chihuahuas in their bags

A classy granny quaffs a spritz

Whilst on her lap a poodle sits

Yes amble round the little towns 

With teeny tykes in whites and browns

And notice how, in Italy

A pup suits people prettily.
